The FLUSH & FORGET culture – SERIOUS S…
Course dates: June 1st to June 6th 2009
Learn about where all matter might come from and where is sooner or later goes on its eternal cycles on the planet and in the universe. It’s not just about compost toilets but about conceptualizing and developing systems which understand that “flush and forget” is not only a waste of money its also waste of valuable resources.

We all do it but we dont talk about – we flush and forget and we use collosal amounts of the purest ressources on getting rid of our own valuable ressources – its pretty insane and yet we keep on doing it. If the entire world population start using water closets we could end up with some serious challenges.
But the best news is that we actually can use our “left-overs” for amazing things such as biogas, exelent compost, amazingly nutritional fertilizer, energy etc. we aint seen nothing yet in the development of products, services etc. in relation to the utilization of human ressources.
On this course we learn about where all matter might come from and where is sooner or later goes on its eternal cycles on the planet and in the universe. We focus on human waste but look also at organic matter which can easily become part of a transformation / recycling process with human waste in FX.
The cities and which could easily be part of the energy suply. It’s not just about compost toilets but about conceptualizing and developing systems which understands that “flush and forget” is not only a waste of money its also waste of valuable resources. We design & build the most exquisite compost toilets you have ever seen on the planet – we test them and we find out how we can integrate ancient low-tech solutions into tomorrows world.

For this course we have especially invited one of Indias most respected architects Yatin Panday who has developed numerous projects in India.
